How to Enter

The Tillamook Macaroni & Cheese Recipe Contest is looking for six culinary giants to be this year’s finalists. These chosen few will receive an all-travel-expenses-paid trip to the October 23 grand finale cook-off in Portland, Ore.

Think you’re up to the challenge? Entering is a snap. Just pick your favorite homemade macaroni and cheese recipe and prepare to dish it up. You can pick up to three to submit. To enter, Submit Online by midnight PST Monday, August 17, or mail entries postmarked by Wednesday, August 12, to:

All submissions also must include name, address, phone number and e-mail address if one is available. Finalists will be notified by phone no later than Monday, September 7, 2009 and must be willing and available to participate in the grand finale cook-off. Only finalists will be notified, all decisions are final and scores from preliminary judging will not be made public

Entries must be in this format:

Recipe Ingredients:
Type in the measurement (ex. 1 tsp), then a dash ( - ) then the ingredient name (ex. Paprika). Follow this example for each ingredient.

Example
1 tsp - Paprika
2 cups - Bread Crumbs

Recipe preparation:
Make sure to describe the preparation of the dish in detail.

Example
Preheat oven to 350˚. In a large pot bring water to a boil. Add packaged elbow macaroni to boiling water and reduce heat.

Enter Contest

To add ingredients: Type in the measurement (ex: 1 tsp.), then a dash (-), then the ingredient name (ex: Paprika) followed by a return. Be sure to specify type of noodle and brand of cheese. Follow this example for each ingredient.
Example:
1 tsp - Paprika (return)
2 cups - Bread crumbs (return)
