Judging and Voting Details and Prizes

"People's Choice" Voting

  1. Once the six finalists have been chosen, the general public will vote online for a "People's Choice" winner.
  2. Online voting will begin Thursday, August 28, at 12:01 a.m. PST.
  3. Online voting for the "People's Choice" will conclude Thursday, October 23, at 12:01 a.m. PST.
  4. The "People's Choice" winner will be announced at the Grand Finale cook-off on Thursday, October 23.
  5. Only one vote per person.

Grand Finale Judging

  1. All Macaroni and Cheese Contest finalists must arrive at the designated cook-off location, ready to prepare their recipes, by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the cook-off.
  2. Six finalists will prepare their macaroni and cheese dish from scratch in front of a live audience and panel of judges.
  3. Finalist's recipes will be awarded points by a panel of culinary and celebrity judges, and the finalist with the highest number of points will be awarded the grand prize.
  4. The grand prize winner will be announced Thursday, October 23, after judges have finished scoring all entries.
  5. All decisions are final and scores from the grand finale cook-off will not be made public.
